iNtroduction

One Agenda is a Polish company with British roots based in Warsaw, Poland and a network of Partners across Europe.

We specialise in helping foreign companies develop Trade and Business relations between Western Europe and the diverse markets of Central and Eastern Europe.

Majority of our projects fall into three key categories, namely: Supplier Sourcing, Market Research and new Market Entry.

Increasingly we are helping companies from the CEE region enter the markets of western Europe.

We have worked in many industry sectors, adding value with our project expertise, local market knowledge, languages and resources. All our services are tailored to specific Client requirements.

The company's principals have extensive international and local experience working with senior management of companies from SME's to large corporates, world-wide.

Transition Economies of Central and Eastern Europe

Between 2004 and 2007 the European Union successfully grew from 15 to 27 members, of which 10 were from CEE. In December 2005 the EC granted candidate country status to the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Croatia and Turkey are in accession negotiations.

In three years the EU grew from 380m people to 500m.

The impact of these and other changes across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), means that the region can no longer simply be grouped and treated together as Central and Eastern Europe.

EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) groups the region as follows:
  • CEB (Central Europe and Baltics): Poland, Czech Rep., Slovak Rep., Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Slovenia.
  • SEE (South Eastern Europe): Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.
  • CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States): Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The potential for developing business between Western and Eastern Europe has never been greater, but also the need to understand cultural differences has never been so intense.
